This was my first, very own graphic panel installation I completed outside of college. It was a huge learning experience to be given specific parameters, such as: a list of mandatory photos chosen by client, a maximum length set by hallway wall, brand color scheme, a set budget and time frame.

With the amount of photos that the client wanted represented on each core value panel, the layouts took on a bit of a collage appearance. Since each photo was from previous publications or time eras, they all needed editing to remove artifacts, pixelation, and improve color. The layout concept that was chosen seamlessly blends with the surroundings of the office.

The walls around the office were painted by client, prior to the addition of the background swoosh that we painted via a custom cut, vinyl stencil. The header and sub headers were routed out of 1/4” MDF. The 5 structural, backers that each text and image panel attached to were routed out of 1/2” MDF.

Panels have a mixture of flat, satin and semi-gloss metallic coatings to bring energy to a simple setup. Quotes and body copy are flat bed UV printed and clear coated for durability. All images are printed on paper, laminated under non-glare acrylic and print mounted to painted MDF panels. Because of material weight, all panels are attached to the wall via metal, french-cleats.
